Carlos Soares — Carlos has been in the restaurant industry for over 40 years. He started his career with Jan Companies, where he was the operations support manager for the East Side Mario Restaurants in all of New England. He joined Iggy’s Doughboy and Chowder House in 2002, where he has brought his technical expertise, deep knowledge and understanding of the business, and expert management to help guide the brand into success. He currently works at the general manager of Iggy’s Doughboy and Chowder Houses in both Narragansett and Warwick.

John Bordieri — Iggy’s Boardwalk has maintained an exclusive niche restaurant scene for Rhode Island since its initial inception in 2015. The restaurant is helmed by Executive Chef John Bordieri, who uses greenmarket offerings and local seafood favorites to create seasonal specials and menu staples. Chef Bordieri began his 35 year career at his parents restaurant, Coffee’s Cafe, in Providence. He then spent 14 years as the executive chef of the Alpine Country Club. Today, Chef John uses his mastery in the kitchen and his passion and flare for Italian cuisine to create new takes on traditional Rhode Island cuisine. Between the classic New England wainscoting and the views of Narragansett Bay - The Boardwalk ambiance is the perfect setting to enjoy a taste of Rhode Island.
